Organized for the first time in Kahramanmaraş by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Türkiye Culture Road Festival began with an opening program held at Kahramanmaraş Castle.

Hosting the Türkiye Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the first time, Kahramanmaraş held its opening program at Kahramanmaraş Castle.

Protocol members and numerous art enthusiasts came together during the program.

Aiming to Boost the City's Morale

Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer stated that the festival was organized to strengthen the morale and hope of the city, which has been struggling to stand back up after the February 6 earthquakes.

UNESCO and Culinary Culture

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Gökhan Yazgı reminded that Kahramanmaraş became the first city to be included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of Literature in 2025.

Contribution to Tourism and Economy

Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel touched upon the importance of holding the festival for the first time and having the opening at the Historic Maraş Castle, whose restoration has been completed.

Nine-Day Art Feast

As part of the festival, various artists will give concerts for nine days, and exhibitions, workshops, and children's activities will also be organized.
