Brought into the city's cultural and artistic life by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the Istanbul Bosphorus Museum has started welcoming art enthusiasts on the second floor of the Kabataş Transfer Center.
Subject and Curator of the Exhibition
The exhibition is curated by Ali Kayaalp, featuring a collection that explores life shaped along the Bosphorus from the 19th century to the early years of the Republic as the museum's inaugural showcase.
Artists Whose Works Are Featured
The exhibition meeting visitors includes works by prominent names such as Hoca Ali Rıza, İbrahim Çallı, Mıgırdiç Civanyan, İbrahim Safi, Fausto Zonaro, and Ara Güler.
Elements of the Rich Collection
Additionally, maps from the IMM inventory, engravings, old postcards, Bosphorus-themed books, and the Bosphorus Magazine of Şirket-i Hayriye are among the items on display.
