The protocol for Turkey's first campus social service center, to be implemented through the cooperation of the Gaziantep Governorship, GAÜN, the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and the Turkish Red Crescent, has been signed.

An official protocol was signed between the Gaziantep Governorship, GAÜN, the Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and the Turkish Red Crescent.

The protocol was signed by Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, GAÜN Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Mesut Doğan, Turkish Red Crescent Gaziantep Branch President Mustafa Bozgeyik, and Gaziantep Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Umut Zeybek.

Governor Çeber stated that the center will contribute to the early identification of students' social and economic needs and expressed his expectation that the practice will serve as an example for other universities.

Rector Doğan noted that the center is located within the campus in an easily accessible area and is designed to ensure privacy during interviews.

At the center, students' social service needs will be evaluated, they will be directed to appropriate services, and protective and preventive activities will be carried out.
