First Project Grants for the New Term of the Ortaklaşa Program Announced
Projects that will enhance cultural life in four cities have been awarded grants within the scope of the Ortaklaşa Program, run by İKSV.
In the new term of the Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program, carried out by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, four projects to be implemented in Ayvalık, Diyarbakır, Gürpınar and Osmangazi will receive grant support.
Scope and Objectives of the Program
The program, carried out by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, aims to strengthen the dialogue between civil society organizations and municipalities.
A total grant support of up to 500 thousand euros will be provided to four projects selected from applications across Turkey.
Cinema Project in Ayvalık
Through the partnership of the Seyir Culture and Art Association and the Ayvalık Municipality, the Vural Cinema will serve as an open cultural venue throughout the year.
Within the scope of the project, the technical infrastructure of the cinema will be renewed, and various film screenings and workshops will be organized.
Mazxana Initiative in Diyarbakır
The partnership is being carried out by the Diyarbakır Literature Culture Art Education and Research Association and the Metropolitan Municipality.
A historical house in Sur will be transformed into a permanent cultural venue open to interdisciplinary production under the name Mazxana.
Gürpınar Cultural Participation Network
The Ninova Education Culture Art and Tourism Association and the Gürpınar Municipality are establishing a joint local culture model.
The Gürpınar Cultural Center will be improved and turned into a space where city residents can participate in cultural production.
Industrial Heritage in Bursa
The Ankara Aks Association and the Osmangazi Municipality are converting the historical Romangal Silk Factory into a cultural center.
With the participation of neighborhood residents and artisans, the silk-weaving memory of the factory will be recorded.
