Rami Library hosted an important event during the Istanbul stop of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The workshop organized by the Çınar International Culture and Art Association drew intense interest.
Workshop Led by Artist Fatoş Sarpkaya
During the event, conducted under the guidance of flexible cold porcelain artist Fatoş Sarpkaya, participants were informed about the structure of the special dough and shaping techniques. Works prepared by Sarpkaya were also presented for the appreciation of visitors at the venue.
Technical Features of the Special Dough
Drying by contacting the air without the need for firing, the flexible cold porcelain dough draws attention with its unbreakable structure. This special material, whose recipe belongs to the artist, can be used in different areas such as bridal tiaras, bouquets, and lapel pins.
