Festival Themes and Schedule
Consisting of four thematic sections titled Roots, Crossings, Becoming, and Traces, the festival will bring films together with audiences in various cities across America.
The opening program of the festival will be held on December 4-5 at the Türkevi Center in New York, while the closing and award ceremony will take place on April 30 - May 1, 2027, in Washington D.C.
Screening Venues and Cultural Gathering
Within the scope of the Across America program, screenings will also be held in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The "Girne Documentary" will bring Kyrenia's history and cultural memory together with film enthusiasts in America.

Directed by Derya Atamer and produced by Ali Atamer, the "Girne Documentary" met with audiences at its gala screening on September 28, 2025, at the Kyrenia Amphitheatre.
The documentary was among the finalists in the Best Culture Documentary and Best Editing in a Documentary categories within the scope of the Anatolian International Film Festival.
Having been a semi-finalist at the IMDb-accredited Turkic World Documentary Film Festival, the production was deemed worthy of the Best Documentary Award at the KTGB Media Achievement Awards.
