GNÇ Turkey Cinema Festival Welcomed 777 Thousand Spectators in Two Days

In its second year, the GNÇ Turkey Cinema Festival was held in approximately 1,500 halls across 75 provinces, reaching 777 thousand spectators in two days and creating great vitality in movie theaters.

Organized by the Cinema Investors Association with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the festival took place on September 26-27.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that the 777 thousand spectator count reached in two days demonstrates the unifying power of cinema.
He emphasized that as a ministry, they will continue to support domestic film production and strengthen the bond between youth and cinema.
Sectoral Vitality and Economic Reflections
The event, where films met audiences with a ticket price of 90 liras, also created density in dining and retail areas within shopping malls.

Organizers aim to bring cinema enthusiasts together once again in theaters across Turkey on September 25-26, 2027.
