New Season at Fener Evleri

Fener Evleri, restored by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality as part of its cultural heritage conservation efforts, continues to host art lovers under the name Haliç Sanat 1-2-3.

With the opening of the season, the original works of three different artists met with art audiences in Istanbul.

Ertuğrul Çakır's Exhibition 'Ludus'

Ertuğrul Çakır's solo exhibition titled Ludus addresses the inner contradictions carried by humans through the themes of play and popular culture.

The artist reinterprets cinema and comic book characters using the oil painting technique, presenting familiar imagery to the viewer in a different context.

'Wings of the Earth' by Atila Çakır

Ceramic artist Atila Çakır's exhibition Wings of the Earth examines freedom and the relationship with nature through bird figures.

In the works consisting of the combination of clay, glaze, and fire, the sense of movement and flight of birds comes to the forefront.

'Left by the Wind' with Caner Kaya

Caner Kaya's exhibition Left by the Wind explores memory and the connection of the past to the present through the traces left behind by the wind.

By using heavy materials such as metal, the artist reflects the contrast between the concepts of impermanence and permanence in his works.
