Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival Begins in September

The Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival, being held for the sixth time this year, is preparing to meet music lovers at the Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera House between September 6 and 24.

The Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival, organized for the sixth time, will take place at the Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera House between September 6 and 24.
Realized in cooperation with the IMM Department of Culture, the event will bring international artists and musicians from Turkey together on the same stage.
Support for Young Musicians
In addition to concerts, the festival program will feature free masterclasses and various activities aimed at young musicians.
Founder and artistic director Nil Kocamangil stated that the biggest problem for young people is access to opportunities, and they aim to overcome economic barriers.
Perception of Classical Music
Attention was drawn to the need to break the perception that classical music is elite and difficult to reach.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of expanding accessible events for children and young people to meet music at an early age.
