Kibyra Ancient City to Host History, Culture, and Art Event

Kibyra Ancient City, located in the Gölhisar district of Burdur and on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, is preparing to host a major culture and art event on September 4, 2026.
Cultural Gathering in the Ancient City
Organized under the auspices of the Burdur Governor's Office, the "History, Culture, Art in the Magic of the Ancient City" event will take place in a historical atmosphere dating back thousands of years.
Erhan Altunay Will Give a Talk
The program will begin at 18:00 with a talk by historian, researcher, and writer Erhan Altunay, where the traces of ancient cultures will be shared.
Birsen Tezer Concert
In the music section of the event, beloved artist Birsen Tezer will take the stage at 20:00 in the enchanting atmosphere of the ancient city.
Historical Atmosphere of the Odeon
During the program at Kibyra, which has a history spanning over two thousand years, the approximately 2,500-seat Odeon will also accompany the atmosphere of the night.
