LIBERIST Culture and Art Summit Held at İş Sanat Culture Center
Held against echo chambers and polarizations in various fields, the summit discussed the courage of institutions holding cultural capital to rethink.
The LIBERIST Culture and Art Summit, where echo chambers extending from politics to the streets and media were discussed, took place with high participation at the İş Sanat Culture Center.
Opening Speech of the Summit
The event started with the opening speech delivered by Ferah Türel, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Liber Culture and Art Association, and important messages were given to the participants.
During the opening, leading figures of the philosophy and literature worlds were commemorated, and the thematic framework of the program was drawn.
Commemoration of Pioneer Figures
Within the scope of the program, philosopher İoanna Kuçuradi along with Nezihe Muhiddin and Halide Edip, important female writers of Turkish literature, were commemorated with respect.

Rethinking in the Age of Technology
Adnan Bali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası, emphasized that in this age dominated by technology, rethinking is a matter of dignity.
In his speech, Bali made various references to the intellectual legacies of master figures such as Cemil Meriç and Yaşar Kemal.
Analysis of Cultural Polarizations
Prof. Dr. Besim Dellaloğlu discussed the problem of polarization in the art and culture field in Turkey in detail during the talk moderated by Ferah Türel.
During the conversation, the tendency not to think in society and its effects on cultural life were also comprehensively addressed.
The Role of Cultural Capital
Throughout the summit, it was emphasized with importance that institutions and structures holding cultural capital must break away from current polarizations.
It was stated that it is a critical need for institutions to move away from stereotyped judgments and initiate a process of rethinking.
