Marmaris Municipal Theatre to Stage Play in Muğla
The Marmaris Municipal Theatre team will present their theatrical adaptation of 'Hasan Boğuldu' to theatre enthusiasts within the scope of the festival.
The play "Böyledir Bizim Sevdamız", performed by trainees of the Marmaris Municipal Theatre Culture and Art House, will meet art lovers in Muğla on September 27 as part of the 33rd International Muğla Culture and Art Festival.
Screening Within the Scope of the Festival
Productions staged by the Marmaris Municipal Theatre continue to meet audiences in different cities. Having staged various plays last season, the team will take part in the festival with this particular work.
Composed of Culture and Art House trainees, the cast will take the stage on Sunday, September 27, at 5:00 PM at the Yıldız Kenter Hall of the Gazi Mustafa Kemal Cultural Center.
Hasan Boğuldu Adaptation
Adapted from Sabahattin Ali's renowned work 'Hasan Boğuldu', a significant figure in Turkish literature, the production features a large cast of 50 people.
Bringing together live music, dance, and theatrical performances, the show focuses on a tragic story of unfulfilled reunion that took place in the Kaz Mountains.
Technical and Artistic Crew
In the production, where the vast majority of the cast consists of amateur actors, the character of Emine is portrayed by Ayşe Şahin Gençtürk, and Hasan by Ömer Şencan.
Cengiz Sezgin undertakes the direction of the play, while Zidan Akgül serves as assistant director, and the adaptation bears the signature of Hüseyin Yıldız.
