Preparations Completed for Bozkurt Culture, Art, and Agriculture Festival
The 3rd Culture, Art, and Agriculture Festival to be held in Denizli's Bozkurt district will open its doors on September 17-19 with science, art, agriculture, and music events.
The Culture, Art, and Agriculture Festival, to be held for the 3rd time this year in Denizli's Bozkurt district, will host colorful events in the fields of science, art, gastronomy, and agriculture between September 17 and 19. Mayor Birsen Bozkurt announced that the organization was prepared without placing a burden on the budget, thanks to sponsors and EU funds.
Free Transportation and Financial Support
Free bus services will be organized from Denizli to Bozkurt so that citizens can easily participate in the events. Mayor Birsen Bozkurt stated that the festival is financed by sponsors and European Union Hambat Local Action Group funds, without any spending from the municipal budget.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality also provided significant support to the organization in areas such as stages, lighting, logistics, and marching bands. In this context, it is aimed to increase participation in the festival from the city center.
International Participation and EU Projects
Mayors and accompanying delegations from sister municipalities Krasnystaw and Ułan-Majorat in Warsaw, Poland, will come to Denizli to attend the festival. Additionally, 20 young people are planned to be sent to Poland for cultural development purposes.
With the efforts carried out by Bozkurt Municipality, it is aimed to reach an EU support budget level of 300 thousand Euros in 2026 and 500 thousand Euros in 2027.
Robotics Coding Team Headed to World Championship
Five 10-year-old students studying in the district, who achieved first place in the Aegean Region and second place in Turkey, will represent Turkey at the World Championship to be held in Rome, Italy, in November.
While this success of the young people, who received training in courses opened within the municipality, has become a great source of pride in the district, it was stated that investments in science and technology will continue.
Four Days of Science, Agriculture, and Music
The first day of the festival will feature Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Science Center workshops and a Mavi Gri concert. The second day will feature an agriculture and livestock panel with the participation of Sencer Solakoğlu.
While Tuğçe Kandemir will take the stage on the third day, the final day will end with the 'Emigrant Flavors' competition, Trap Shooting Range events, and an Erkan Soner concert.
