Record Attendance Broken in 16 Years at the Phaselis Festival
The concert featuring Sezen Aksu songs on the third day of the festival held in Kemer, Antalya, broke a record with the participation of thousands of art lovers.
The concert by Gökçe Eyüpgiller consisting of Sezen Aksu songs, performed on the third day of the 16th Phaselis Festival in the Kemer district of Antalya, reached the highest attendance in the festival's history with 3,500 people.
Great Interest in the Third Day of the Festival
The 16th Phaselis Festival, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Kemer Region Promotion Foundation, and sponsors, saw intense interest.
The event, which met with art lovers on the third day of the festival, hosted the most crowded night in its 16-year history.
A Night Like Sezen Concert
The "A Night Like Sezen" concert, where Gökçe Eyüpgiller performed Sezen Aksu's songs, lasted for about 1.5 hours.
While the artist was accompanied on stage by Metin Kiper on the piano and Akgün Çavuş on the drums, the audience also sang along to the songs.
Protocol and Participants
The music-filled night was attended by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Ebru Şahin, Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz, and Mayor Necati Topaloğlu.
Along with protocol members, numerous local and foreign tourists took their places in the concert area.
Preparations for the Closing Concert
The Phaselis Festival will conclude with a closing concert titled "From Bach to Turkish Music," where various artists will take the stage.
On the closing night, soloist Dilek Türkan, Çellistanbul, and kanun artist Serkan Mesut Halili will meet with music lovers.
