Short Film Awards Find Their Owners on the Second Day of the Festival in Kepez
On the second day of the festival organized by Kepez Municipality, short film competition awards were distributed, and various workshops and performances were held.
The 2nd International Health and Well-being in Old Age Festival, brought to life by Kepez Municipality with its "Age-Friendly Kepez" vision, continued on its second day with art and cultural events. Within the scope of the program, the Fiction and Documentary Short Film Competition awards found their owners.
Second Day Events of the Festival
Organized by Kepez Municipality, the festival continues to welcome visitors with the theme "From a Lifetime to a Future."
Art Workshops and Panels
Within the framework of the festival program, sustainable living workshops and panels on healthy aging were organized. Prof. Dr. Tuncay Neyişçi gave a talk on the ecology of aging.
Cultural Performances
While the Cyprus Kyrenia 60+ Refreshment University presented a theater and poetry performance, the Balıkesir choir and the Ukraine Dance Ensemble took the stage.
Short Film Competition Ceremony
Speaking at the award ceremony of the Fiction and Documentary Short Film Competition, Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz emphasized the importance of cinema in intergenerational bonds.
Competition Rankings
The Jury Special Award was given to Yeşim Taşdelen and her team for their work titled 2 Plates, the third place went to Alihan Utku's film Someday, the second place to Serdal Altun's film Echo, and the first place to Nephan Baykal's film Memories.
Musical Concert
The second day of the festival concluded enthusiastically with a concert given by the Kepez City Orchestra.
