Stock Market Claims Brought Up at the Congress

YENİ Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre made statements regarding the stock market and financial markets at his party's Bahçelievler 1st Ordinary District Congress. Claiming that former Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband İlyas Kaya earned billions of liras in profits through stock market transactions in just 4 months, Emre alleged that funds were withdrawn one after another following whispers into certain people's ears.

Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's Transactions

Zeynel Emre shared detailed figures regarding Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's stock market moves. Stating that the process began on April 8, Emre reported that Kaya purchased 250,000 shares of ÖZATA Denizcilik at 255 liras, and by September, she disposed of these shares at 4,482 liras. He stated that Kaya invested 63 million 359 thousand liras and withdrew 1 billion 344 million liras within 4 months.

İlyas Kaya's Stock Investments

Continuing his allegations with İlyas Kaya's transactions, Emre stated that her husband İlyas Kaya also purchased 150,000 shares at 255 liras. Noting that the shares were similarly sold at 4,482 liras, Emre stated that 99 million 687 thousand liras were invested and 826 million liras were withdrawn. He also noted that while the main stock was ÖZATA, there were two other locations where they bought relatively fewer shares.

Account Distribution and Timing

Stating that the transactions in question started on April 8 and took place before September 16, Zeynel Emre also touched upon the details of the accounts to which the withdrawn money was transferred. Emre stated that 4 of these accounts had Turkish extensions, while one was among accounts with non-Turkish extensions.
