Türkiye Culture Road Festival Kicks Off in Istanbul
The events of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as its 20th stop in Istanbul, have officially begun for a nine-day run.
The Türkiye Culture Road Festival, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, meets art enthusiasts in Istanbul from September 26 to October 4 as its 20th stop. The nine-day massive organization expands the city's cultural map with everything from concerts and theater to exhibitions and gastronomy.
A Nine-Day Festival in Istanbul
Events have begun in Istanbul, the 20th stop of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
This major organization, which started in 2021 under the name Beyoğlu Culture Road Festival, is returning to the city for the sixth time and will run until October 4.
Wide Venue Network and Diverse Program
Various programs are being held at venues such as the AKM, Rami Library, Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center, Galataport, and various other cultural locations across the city.
Alongside open-air spaces and music, performing arts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, and children's activities await participants.
International and Local Music Gatherings
While the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs a concert at the AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall, the National Arab Orchestra and Nai Barghouti are also taking the stage.
Carmina Burana, the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, İncesaz, and the Presidential Classical Turkish Music Choir are also featured in the music program.
Open-Air Concerts at Galataport and AKM
Well-attended popular open-air concerts are being held at the Galataport Clock Tower Square and the AKM Türk Telekom Open-Air Stage.
Renowned artists and music groups such as Özcan Deniz, Murat Boz, Simge, Ceza, Derya Uluğ, and Motive are giving concerts.
Performing Arts and Ballet Performances
The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Ballet Theatre is meeting art enthusiasts in Turkey for the first time with the Stanislavsky Ballet Gala.
Important productions such as Swans, Carmen, The Abduction from the Seraglio, Cinderella, and Actually There Is No Spoon are also meeting audiences.
Visual Arts and Gastronomy Routes
The Three Painters exhibition and the Kazasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi exhibition have been opened to visitors at the AKM Gallery.
In the field of gastronomy, a broad route and special selection focusing on Istanbul's deep-rooted culinary memory are being offered.
