Turkey Culture Route Festival Kicks Off in Istanbul
Within the scope of the nine-day events, concerts, exhibitions, theater and ballet performances, workshops, and gastronomy events will be held.
The Turkey Culture Route Festival has started its nine-day marathon in Istanbul, marking the sixth time in the city and serving as the 20th stop.
Start and Scope of the Festival
According to the statement made by the ministry, the organization, which first started in 2021 under the name Beyoğlu Culture Route Festival, is being held for the sixth time in Istanbul.
Emphasis on the Culture Route
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that they treat Istanbul not just as a festival venue, but directly as a culture route.
Opening Concert and Stage Programs
The opening concert of the festival will be given by one of the UK's long-standing musical ensembles, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Atatürk Cultural Center Türk Telekom Opera Hall.
Public Concerts and Famous Names
Özcan Deniz, Oğuzhan Koç, Murat Boz, Kıraç, Simge, Poizi, Bengü, Ceza, and Bayhan will take the stage at the public concerts in the Galataport Clock Tower Square.
Performing Arts and Exhibitions
Performing arts and exhibitions will spread across the city, and the Stanislavsky Ballet Gala will be presented to the audience at the AKM Theater Hall.
Gastronomy Events
In the gastronomy leg, culinary stops ranging from century-old restaurants to street delicacies will be promoted along routes extending from Beyoğlu to Moda, from the Bosphorus to Şile.
