Türkiye Culture Road Festival is Being Held in Ankara for the Fifth Time
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the event will bring the historical texture of the capital together with different branches of art.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Türkiye Culture Road Festival will meet art lovers in Ankara, its 19th stop, between September 19 and 27 for the fifth time.
Dates and Purpose of the Festival
The Türkiye Culture Road Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will take place in Ankara as its 19th stop between September 19 and 27.
The festival aims to bring the historical and cultural texture of the capital together with different disciplines of art. Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that the multi-layered heritage of the capital will be made visible again thanks to this event.
Event Locations and Venues
The Ankara Culture Road Festival will host events at many locations such as CSO Ada Ankara, Ankara Museum of Painting and Sculpture, Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Ethnography Museum, and Republic Museum.
Within the scope of the program, activities will also be held at different venues of the city, such as the PTT Stamp Museum, MTA Şehit Cuma Dağ Museum of Natural History, Türkiye İş Bankası Museum of Economic Independence, and Adnan Ötüken Provincial Public Library.
Cultural Events and Gastronomy
Throughout the festival, exhibitions, talks, panels, museum visits, workshops, and gastronomy gatherings will be organized for art lovers.
Local dishes will be introduced at more than fifty Taste Points, and Chef Mehmet Yalçınkaya and guest chefs will host these events.
Concerts and Performing Arts
Concerts will be held at the Capital Nation Garden for nine days; Gökhan Türkmen, Hakan Altun, Derya Uluğ, Sefo, Serkan Kaya, Ceza, Ebru Yaşar, and Özcan Deniz will take the stage.
In addition, opera, ballet, dance, and theater performances, rich children's events, and the Gordion 3rd International Archaeo-Film Festival are among the activities included in the program.
