President Erdoğan Attends Mass Opening and Groundbreaking Ceremony in Rize
Speaking at the mass opening and groundbreaking ceremony held in Rize, President Erdoğan emphasized that their sole agenda is to serve the country and cities.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the mass opening ceremony for completed investments in Rize, inaugurating projects valued at approximately 10 billion liras and laying the foundations for new investments.
Investments Made in Rize
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that they officially inaugurated 26 completed projects in the central district and other districts of Rize, and laid the foundations for 3 new investments. He wished that these works, with a total value of approximately 10 billion liras, would bring prosperity to the city.
TOKI and Housing Projects
Stating that they are working to make cities resilient and safe through TOKI, Erdoğan noted that a total of 5,636 residences have been completed across Rize by TOKI. New residences and commercial spaces were opened in Yağlıtaş, Kendirli, Madenli, and Çayeli.
Social and Educational Projects
They also put into service a 330,000-square-meter nation's garden, the İyidere Nation's Garden, the Çamlıhemşin Nation's Garden, and the Rize Culture Street. Various school reinforcement projects, the Hafize Haşim Haşimoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, and the Ahmet Tevfik İleri Student Dormitory were also among the inaugurated locations.
Developments in Sports and Transportation
Mentioning the Kaçkar Marathon, which hosted more than 2,000 athletes from 60 countries in Rize, President Erdoğan announced that the foundations were laid for the Çiftekavak Industrial Site, the new bus terminal, and the housing-shop projects in Çamlıhemşin. The Rize Southern Ring Road and the İyidere Logistics Port are also among the projects.
Healthcare Investments and Emphasis on Service
Within the scope of healthcare investments, it was reported that 70 percent of the Rize City Hospital has been completed. In November, the 50-bed Çayeli State Hospital will begin accepting patients. Erdoğan stated that their agenda is to bring Turkey to the place it deserves in global politics.
