Anadolu Sigorta Organizes First-Ever Run in Haliç
The 'One More Step Run', to be organized for the first time by Anadolu Sigorta, will bring athletes together at Istanbul's Haliç on Sunday, September 20.
Organized for the first time by Anadolu Sigorta, the 'One More Step Run' will take place on Sunday, September 20, at Istanbul's Haliç and will serve as a qualifier for the Istanbul Marathon.
Race Details and Track Information
In the organization to be held in Istanbul's Haliç, athletes will compete on two separate tracks of 5 and 10 kilometers.
The races, starting in front of the Balat Ferry Pier, will kick off at 09:00 and will be open to all athletes aged 16 and over.
Categories and Post-Race
In addition to the general classification, separate categories will be established for youth as well as male and female athletes in various age groups.
While all participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded a commemorative medal, various refreshments and support services will be provided.
Registration Process and Objectives
Race registrations will continue until September 16, and applications may close early if the quota is filled.
Anadolu Sigorta Deputy General Manager Aydın Bozdemir stated that they aim to contribute to the formation of a permanent running community.
