Applications Open for the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership 2026 Transnational Call
Supported by TÜBİTAK and international partners, the SBEP 2026 call targets the transition to a renewable marine economy.
The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP) 2026 Transnational Joint Call, part of the Horizon Europe Programme, has officially opened for applications with the participation of 33 funding organizations, including TÜBİTAK.
Objective and Scope of the Partnership
The Sustainable Blue Economy Project aims to support a fair and inclusive transition from a largely unsustainable marine economy to a renewable and circular blue economy.
Evaluation and Funding Process
Projects decided to be supported will first be evaluated by an international panel of reviewers and will then be financed by the countries' own national funding organizations.
Funding Organizations and Participating Countries
The SBEP Partnership 2026 Transnational Joint Call has been brought to life with the contributions of a total of 33 funding organizations from 28 different countries, including TÜBİTAK from our country.
Consortium and Application Requirements
Project proposals are required to comply with international call conditions as well as national rules and conditions.
For applications, it is mandatory for partners from at least three different countries to come together to form a consortium and for the partners to be funded by at least three different funding organizations.
Application Channels and Methods
While international applications are made via the SBEP Project Application System, national applications are carried out directly through the TÜBİTAK Project Application System.
Call Schedule and Critical Dates
The deadline for Stage 1 pre-proposal international applications has been set as November 16, 2026.
The deadline for national applications is November 23, 2026, and the deadline for national application e-signature procedures is November 26, 2026.
