Following a selling-heavy trend yesterday, the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul had completed the day with a loss of 2.38 percent at 12,592.76 points.
Sector Performance Distribution
While the banking index recorded a 0.03 percent increase at the open, the holding index lost 1.34 percent in value.

Among sector indices, the top gainer was sports with a 0.26 percent increase, while the steepest decline was seen in financial leasing and factoring with an 8.09 percent drop.
