Bloomberg HT September Inflation Survey Results Announced
Monthly and annual inflation expectations as well as forecasts for upcoming years have been clarified in the September survey conducted with the participation of economists.
The median expectation of 19 institutions participating in Bloomberg HT's September inflation survey took shape as 2.2 percent monthly and 30.30 percent annual inflation.
September Inflation Expectations
19 institutions participated in the September inflation survey, the results of which were shared by Bloomberg HT. According to the participants' median forecast, monthly inflation in September is projected to be 2.2 percent.
Annual Inflation Forecast Ranges
According to economists' median expectation, annual inflation in September is estimated to be at the level of 30.30 percent. For this period, the lowest monthly expectation was recorded as 2.03 percent, and the highest monthly expectation as 2.6 percent. While the highest forecast on an annual basis was 31.71 percent, the lowest forecast occurred at the level of 29.97 percent.
End-of-Next-Year Projections
Survey participants also shared their inflation expectations for the ends of 2026 and 2027. Accordingly, the median expectation for the end of 2026 was determined as 29.7 percent, while the forecast projected for the end of 2027 was at the level of 24 percent.
