According to the latest weekly data, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's total reserve level decreased alongside a decline in gross foreign exchange and gold assets.

According to the weekly money and bank statistics announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, total reserves recorded a decline in the week ending September 25.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey officially shared the eagerly awaited weekly money and bank statistics for financial markets with the public.

Gross Foreign Exchange Reserves

According to the latest data shared, gross foreign exchange reserves recorded a decline by decreasing by 1 billion 245 million dollars as of September 25.

Gross foreign exchange assets, which were at the level of 62 billion 808 million dollars the previous week, dropped to 61 billion 563 million dollars in the relevant period.

Change in Gold Reserves

During the period in question, not only foreign exchange assets but also precious metal reserves followed a downward trend and showed a decrease.

Gold reserves decreased by 1 billion 957 million dollars compared to the previous week, falling from 111 billion 597 million dollars to 109 billion 640 million dollars.

Total Reserve Amount

As a result of all these developments, the Central Bank's total reserve amount also lost momentum at a significant rate on a weekly basis.

Total reserves fell by 3 billion 201 million dollars in the week of September 25 compared to the previous week, dropping from 174 billion 405 million dollars to 171 billion 204 million dollars.
