CEO Optimism for the Future Increases According to PwC Research

A global study conducted by PwC showed that despite challenging economic conditions and rising costs, corporate executives' optimism regarding revenue growth and expansion for the upcoming period has strengthened.

Future Confidence Rates Have Increased

PwC's Global CEO Survey Interim Outlook study, conducted with the participation of 351 CEOs from 59 countries and 27 sectors, has been published.

The proportion of CEOs who are very or extremely confident in their companies' revenue growth over the next 12 months rose from 39 percent to 42 percent.

The growth and confidence rate regarding the next three years increased from 46 percent to 51 percent in the research.

Costs and Supply Chain Challenges

Due to global shocks, approximately 70 percent of CEOs reported that their energy and non-energy costs have increased.

The proportion of those stating that pricing decisions have become difficult due to cost fluctuations was recorded at 27 percent.

The proportion of executives stating that they experienced similar processes and difficulties in supply chain management stood at 26 percent.

Artificial Intelligence and Performance Effects

Performance divergence among companies continues to be clearly seen in the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

39 percent of CEOs stated that artificial intelligence provided positive results in revenue growth, cost reduction, or both areas.

Meanwhile, 16 percent of the executives participating in the research stated that artificial intelligence applications had a negative impact on their operations.
