Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that exports in September increased by 15.4 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 26 billion dollars, while annualized exports rose to 283.7 billion dollars, the highest level in the history of the Republic.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz shared the September foreign trade data with the public through a statement on his social media account.

According to the statement, exports recorded an increase of 15.4 percent in September compared to the same month of the previous year.

Record in Annualized Exports

With the September figures, annualized exports reached 283.7 billion dollars, seeing the highest level in the history of the Republic.

Yılmaz stated that annualized goods and services exports are estimated to have exceeded 409 billion dollars.

This success was achieved at a time when global trade is being tested by geopolitical tensions and supply chain uncertainties.

The strong export performance increased the economy's resilience against external shocks while contributing to the preservation of gains in the external balance.

It was stated that in the coming period, the position in existing markets will be strengthened and the logistics infrastructure will be developed.

Additionally, it was emphasized that the share of high and medium-high technology products will be increased and the green and digital transformation of companies will be accelerated.
