China and US reach agreement on new joint trade regulation

Within the framework of Chinese President Xi Jinping's official visit to the US, the leaders of the two countries held an inter-delegation meeting at the White House.
Xi stated that they agreed on a new joint arrangement during consultations between the economic and trade delegations, and expressed that they are at a significant turning point in their relations.
Duration of the Trade Agreement Extended
As a result of the work carried out by the economic delegations of the two countries, an agreement was reached to extend the temporary trade agreement, which was set to expire on November 10, until January 2027.
Regional and Global Issues Addressed
During the discussions, artificial intelligence security, competition and cooperation, and the Taiwan issue were put on the table.
Additionally, international and regional crises such as the Middle East, Ukraine, and the Korean Peninsula were also on the leaders' agenda.

US President Donald Trump hosted the guest leader at a dinner at the White House and stated that relations between the two countries have never been better.
Chinese leader Xi noted that they had an extremely sincere and in-depth exchange of views with Trump.
