Cooperation Protocol Signed for Women's Cooperatives' Access to Digital Markets
Thanks to the protocol implemented under the leadership of the Ministry of Trade, women's cooperatives have been paved the way to sell under advantageous conditions on e-commerce platforms.
The Ministry of Trade and leading e-commerce platforms signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol to facilitate the access of women's cooperatives to digital markets.
Scope and Purpose of the Protocol
A new protocol was signed between the Ministry of Trade and Turkey's leading e-commerce platforms to support women's cooperatives. With this agreement, it is targeted for cooperatives to take a more active role in digital markets.
Commission Rate Reduction Convenience
Within the framework of the signed cooperation, special commission rates were determined to support the digital sales processes of the cooperatives. Accordingly, the commission rate to be charged from cooperatives will be applied as zero percent for the first six months.
Long-Term Economic Advantages
Following the initial six-month period, the commission rate will continue to be applied as 1 percent for the subsequent four and a half years. This regulation aims to increase the sustainability of women's cooperatives in digital commerce.
Participating E-Commerce Platforms
Leading e-commerce platforms in the sector such as Hepsiburada, N11, PttAVM, Pazarama, and Trendyol were included in this important support protocol.
