Damage Inspection at Jizan Facilities
According to information based on sources close to the matter cited by the Financial Times, a detailed damage assessment process was initiated following the strike on the facility. Initial evaluations are examining the effects of the attack.
Sources stated that the latest attack was on a similar scale to previous incidents, while no official statement has been made by the company yet.
Past Attacks in the Region
The Houthis had also targeted the refinery located in Saudi Arabia's Jizan region with unmanned aerial vehicles last August.
According to reports by the Houthi-affiliated SABA news agency, these attacks were carried out in retaliation for the violation of the airspaces of Yemen's Saada and Hajjah governorates.
