Declines in Katılımevim shares and negotiations for the transfer of Pusula Finans Holding to Tera Group caused mobility in the markets. Following these developments, economist Kerim Rota made evaluations, addressing the situation of depositors and allegations in the market.

Transfer of Pusula Finans Holding and Shares

An agreement was reached for the transfer of Pusula Finans Holding, which holds the majority shares of Katılımevim, to Tera Group. Concerns increased among investors and customers after Tera's boss took over company management and sharp declines occurred in the stock market.

Situation of Depositors and BRSA

Evaluating the volatility in the stock market, economist Kerim Rota stated that there is no situation that should cause concern for depositors within Katılımevim. He pointed out that such savings finance companies operate under the supervision of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency.

Stock Market Manipulation and Free Funds

Drawing attention to stock manipulation specifically regarding Pusula Yatırım shares and Pusula Portföy, Rota emphasized that unrealistic valuations were made in certain stocks and funds. He stated that there is manipulation in the stock market in Turkey and that problems in free funds led to borrowings, complicating the process.

Legal Measures and Institutional Approvals

Within the framework of these developments, it was claimed that a travel ban abroad was imposed on Pusula Portfolio Chairman of the Board Muhammed Yarız and Katılımevim Chairman of the Board Serdar Turhan, and precautionary measures were placed on their assets and accounts. On the other hand, official approvals from the Capital Markets Board and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency are awaited for the transfer of the company's ownership structure.
