Domestic Helicopter Projects Prevent Imports
The Presidency of Defense Industries announced that thanks to ongoing domestic and national projects, the country has been saved from billions of dollars in foreign dependency.
Head of the Presidency of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün announced that through domestic and national helicopter projects, direct imports exceeding 8 billion dollars have been prevented and the total economic contribution has exceeded 35 billion dollars.

Economic Contribution Assessment
Emphasizing that maintenance and sustainment expenses that will arise throughout the life cycle of the platforms are also taken into account, Görgün noted that the total economic contribution provided to the country through helicopter programs alone has exceeded 35 billion dollars.
