E-Export Figures Increased by 28.3 Percent in July

According to the July online card shopping data announced by the Interbank Card Center, the e-export amount increased by 28.3 percent to reach 27 billion 801 million liras, seeing the highest level of the first seven months of the year.

July E-Export Data

Purchases made in Turkey with foreign cards were evaluated within the scope of e-exports, and the number of transactions increased to 2 million 559 thousand in July compared to June.

The transaction amount recorded an increase of 28.3 percent, reaching 27 billion 801 million liras, thus achieving the highest monthly e-export figure of the first seven months of 2026.

Developments on the E-Import Side

Significant activity was also experienced in July on the e-import side, which refers to online shopping made from abroad through domestic cards.

The number of transactions within this scope rose to 35 million 476 thousand in July, while the total transaction amount reached 45 billion 447 million liras with an increase of 7 percent.

Average Spending Per Transaction

Significant differences were observed in the average spending amounts according to card types in online shopping carried out in July.

The average amount per transaction for purchases made with domestic cards was approximately at the level of 1,281 liras.

For transactions carried out with foreign cards, the average amount per transaction was calculated as approximately 10 thousand 863 liras.
