Assessments regarding economic indicators by Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and the market reflections of geopolitical risks are being closely followed. While volatility in oil prices affects inflation expectations, the latest situation in gold and foreign exchange markets is taking shape.

The Situation in Fund Markets

Inflation and Oil Prices

It was announced that oil prices, which were projected to average around $65 for the year 2026 at the beginning of the year, rose to approximately $90 due to the impact of the war. Geopolitical Developments and Energy

The closure of a critical oil pipeline by Saudi Arabia due to attacks by Yemen's Houthis and Aramco's announcement that it will not allocate crude oil to certain refinery customers were among the significant developments of the day. The possibility of a potential meeting between the US and Iranian leaders within the scope of the United Nations General Assembly is also being monitored.
