Economists' September inflation expectations become clear
According to experts' estimates, the CPI is projected to increase in September, while the annual inflation rate is expected to decline.
20 economists who participated in the September inflation expectation survey conducted by AA Finance determined the monthly CPI increase estimate to be 2.18 percent.
Survey Results and Expectations
The AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey was completed with the participation of 20 economists, and forecasts regarding September data were shared.
The average of the monthly inflation increase expectations projected by the participants for September came in at 2.18 percent.
Annual and Year-End Forecasts
According to economists' September estimate average, the annual inflation rate, which was 31.51 percent in August, is expected to drop to 30.16 percent.
In the same survey, the average of experts' year-end consumer inflation expectations was recorded at 29.66 percent.
Forecast Ranges and Schedule
The experts participating in the survey placed their September monthly inflation expectations in a range between a low of 1.90 percent and a high of 2.60 percent.
The official September inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute will be disclosed to the public on Monday, October 5.
