Turkey's electrical and electronics sector aims to reach an export figure of $20 billion by the end of 2026 with a sustainable growth momentum.

$20 Billion Target

Ranking among Turkey's important exporting sectors, the electrical and electronics sector aims to reach an export figure of $20 billion by the end of 2026. Efforts are underway to maintain the sector's growth momentum in a sustainable manner.

Export Growth Over the Years

While the electrical and electronics sector's exports stood at $14.4 billion in 2021, this figure reached $15.5 billion in 2022, $16.5 billion in 2023, $17 billion in 2024, and $18 billion in 2025.

January-August Period Performance

In the January-August period of 2026, the sector's exports recorded an 11 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year. During this period, the export value rose from $11.6 billion to $12.8 billion.

Unit Price Per Kilogram

During the same period, the export unit price per kilogram also showed a significant increase. The unit price rose from $7.71 to $9.16, indicating an increase in added value.

New Strategies and Focus Areas

Mehmet Kavaklıoğlu, Chairman of the TET Board of Directors, stated that in addition to traditional export methods, they will focus on direct distribution channels, company and brand acquisitions, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence investments.
