A survey conducted by Yöntem Araştırma Eğitim Danışmanlık on behalf of Pluxee reveals that a significant portion of employees experiences a loss of performance after vacations.

Post-Holiday Performance Status

According to the study, which concerns hundreds of thousands of employees, 49 percent of workers state that their performance is lower after a holiday. While 32 percent of participants indicate that their performance remains unchanged, 19 percent report that their productivity was actually lower before the holiday.

Expectations and Support

Methods to facilitate the return to work were also examined within the scope of the study. Forty-four percent of all employees express that implementing more flexible or shorter working hours during the first week would be the most valuable support.

Flexibility Expectations and Current Situation

The expectation for flexible or remote working opportunities during the return-to-work period stands out at 37 percent. However, the proportion of those stating they currently have access to this support remains at only 12 percent.

Leave Rights and Adaptation Process

A similar picture emerges regarding additional leave or adaptation leave. While 33 percent of employees expect this type of support, only 13 percent report having this opportunity, and 1 out of every 3 employees struggles to adjust to the intense pace.
