Expectation of a price cut on diesel
Following the Special Consumption Tax hike implemented on October 1st, a decrease of 2 liras and 22 kuruş is expected in the liter price of diesel.
While fluctuations in oil prices and changes in the foreign exchange rate continue to affect the fuel market, it has been reported that there will be a 2 lira and 22 kuruş price cut in diesel prices following the SCT hike on October 1st.
Details of the Expected Price Cut
Journalist Olcay Aydilek announced in a social media post that a price cut in diesel prices is expected. According to the statement made, a decrease of 2 liras and 22 kuruş is projected to occur in the liter price of diesel.
Current Prices in Metropolitan Cities
Before the expected price cut, gasoline is at 80.50 TL, diesel at 97.10 TL, and LPG at 41.20 TL on the European side of Istanbul. On the Asian side of Istanbul, gasoline is traded at 84.40 TL, diesel at 96.90 TL, and LPG at 40.60 TL.
In Ankara, the gasoline price is 85.50 TL, the diesel price is 98.20 TL, and the LPG price is 41.29 TL, while in İzmir, gasoline is sold for 85.80 TL, diesel for 98.50 TL, and LPG for 41.30 TL.
