Expert training program launched for national ERP software KOVAN
A protocol has been signed to provide qualified human resources for the national software KOVAN, developed under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries.
Within the scope of the project carried out under the coordination of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Presidency of Defense Industries, an signing ceremony was held for the KOVAN Enterprise Resource Planning Expert Training Program for the national ERP software.
Signing Ceremony Held
An official signing ceremony was held at the HAVELSAN campus for the KOVAN Enterprise Resource Planning Expert Training Program, implemented within the framework of the National Competency Move Project.
Development in the Defense Industry
Speaking at the ceremony, President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün stated that the total number of employees in the defense industry has exceeded the 100,000 threshold and that the sector continues to grow.
Scope of KOVAN Software
It is aimed to expand the usage of the national software, which includes dozens of different modules ranging from human resources to accounting, and from project management to logistics, across companies.
Usage Areas and Goals
HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar announced that the software is currently in active use in 12 different institutions and has reached more than 62,000 users in total.
Details of the Training Program
While the program plans to train 500 experts in the first stage and thousands in the upcoming process, the first training class of 26 people started their training as of today.
