The Capital Markets Board stated that the 130 warning allegations regarding the fund investigation brought to the agenda by Abdülkadir Selvi do not reflect the truth, announcing that all notifications coming from Borsa İstanbul are meticulously evaluated.

The Capital Markets Board reported that the claim that Borsa İstanbul issued 130 warnings regarding suspicious funds since 2025, but that the Board did not take these notifications into account, does not reflect the truth.

Surveillance and Evaluation Processes

The Board emphasized that all notifications reaching it from Borsa İstanbul are included in audit and surveillance processes. It was stated that information notes sent via e-mail are also taken into consideration and sanctions are applied when necessary.

Administrative Fines Data

According to the data shared by the CMB, a total of 2 billion 741 million liras in administrative fines were imposed on real and legal persons in 2025. The total administrative fines in the first nine months of 2026 amounted to 948 million liras.

Criminal Complaint Statistics

In the Board's statement, it was noted that criminal complaints were filed against a total of 152 people in 2025. Since the beginning of 2026, the number of people reported to prosecutors has reached 174, 96 of whom are related to fund transactions.
