Export Academy Classes Begin at Istanbul Ticaret University

The Export Academy, established in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and YÖK, is implementing a new elective course program at the undergraduate level.

The elective course program prepared within the framework of the Export Academy, created through the cooperation of the Ministry of Trade and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), is being offered to students' preference at Istanbul Ticaret University as of today.

Academy Cooperation and Launch

The Export Academy was established to train qualified human resources in the field of foreign trade in line with the protocol signed between the Ministry of Trade and YÖK.

As a result of the cooperation established with Istanbul Ticaret University within this scope, the course "Turkey's Export Policy and Basic Components" was added to the curriculum as an elective.

Scope of the Course Program

Throughout the 14-week training program, basic concepts of foreign trade, legislation, and export supports will be discussed in detail.

Comprehensive information on critical topics such as e-exports, international trade rules, payment methods, and market research will be conveyed to students.

Global Trade and Current Topics

During the education process, global economic developments, product safety practices, free zones, and international trade data sources will also be covered.

Thus, it is aimed for students to closely follow changes in global markets and gain a holistic perspective.

Goals and Objectives of the Education

The main objective of the program is to bring together academic knowledge with practical experience by increasing students' competencies in foreign trade and exports.

Additionally, it aims to contribute to training the qualified and equipped human resources needed by Turkey's export ecosystem.
