Next-generation working models are being developed in Turkey to adapt to labor market conditions. The first meeting took place under the chairmanship of Minister Işıkhan.
Work has begun on next-generation working models in Turkey to adapt to changing labor market conditions and increase secure flexibility. Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan brought together worker and employer representatives.
Targets within the Scope of the Medium-Term Program
In line with the Medium-Term Program covering the 2027-2029 period, significant steps are planned to be taken in the labor force and working life over the next three years.
Within this scope, it is aimed to reduce idle labor by taking sectoral needs and skill mismatches into account.
First Meeting Held at the Ministry
The first meeting regarding the new era in working life was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
Stakeholders representing the worker and employer segments participated in the meeting chaired by Minister Vedat Işıkhan.
Updating Legislation and Expectations
Parallel to the change in working life, it is aimed to reconsider the existing legislation and make it more predictable.
Instead of a single type of working model, an inclusive structure that responds to the needs of different employee groups and businesses is targeted.
International Practices and Stakeholder Views
While examining working models in European countries, international practices are also being incorporated into the process.
It was emphasized that the opinions of worker and employer representatives will be consulted during the preparation phase of the new regulations.
