Yeşil dönüşümü hızlandırmak için 5 kritik adım

At the summit held in Istanbul in cooperation with EKONOMİ Newspaper and TÜRKONFED, five critical steps and concrete solutions that need to be taken for the green transition to progress at the desired speed were addressed.

Main Purpose and Objectives of the Summit

It was emphasized that although targets and technology are largely ready, the green transition is not progressing at the desired speed. At the summit, the message was given that the discussion should no longer be about what needs to be done, but how it should be done.

Emphasis on Moving from Jargon to Action

During the opening, TÜRKONFED Vice Chairman of the Board Onur Ünlü stated that the goal is to move from jargon to action, while Didem Eryar Ünlü expressed that instead of new targets, words must be turned into investments.

Data Transformed into Projects and Decisions

It was stated that sustainability targets should be tied to investment plans and measured data should become a direct part of management, budget, and investment decisions.

Cost of Non-Transition and SME Support

It was emphasized that alongside the cost of green investment, the risks brought by failing to transition must be calculated. It was expressed that large companies must offer technical and financial support to SMEs so they can transform together.
