Within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Trade and five e-commerce intermediary service providers, comprehensive digital trade support will be provided to women's cooperatives for five years.

Scope and Purpose of the Protocol

A cooperation protocol has been implemented between the Ministry of Trade and Turkey's five leading e-commerce intermediary service providers to strengthen the access of women's cooperatives to digital markets.

Prepared within the framework of the 2025-2029 Turkey Cooperativism Strategy and Action Plan, this important step aims to ensure that structures whose members are predominantly women and that utilize women's labor take a more active place on e-commerce platforms.

Financial Advantages Provided

Within the framework of the signed protocol, significant cost advantages in digital trade will be offered to women's cooperatives, and they will be able to register on platforms completely free of charge.

In line with the implemented practice, no commission will be charged from cooperatives for the first six months, and during the remaining four and a half years, the commission rate will be applied at a fixed rate of 1 percent.

Digital Visibility and Promotion

The protocol is not limited only to financial facilities, but also envisions special studies to increase the visibility of women's products on digital platforms.

Products will be highlighted in homepage banners, special category areas, and social media campaigns, and special visibility areas will also be created with the label of cooperative products.
