Within the framework of ongoing investigations into transactions carried out in Istanbul's capital markets, former Capital Markets Board President İbrahim Ömer Gönül has been summoned to testify as a suspect.
Capital Markets Investigation
Investigations regarding transactions carried out in the capital markets are being conducted comprehensively by the Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Summons to Testify for Former President
Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, former Capital Markets Board President İbrahim Ömer Gönül was invited to give a statement as a suspect.
Arrests and MASAK Process
Within the framework of the investigation, the Tezmen and Alkin brothers were previously arrested, and the total number of people arrested in the investigation to date has reached 56.
In a writ sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK on September 17, it was requested to obtain the financial data of various holding and investment companies as well as sub-company executives.
