Fund Coordination Committee Holds Second Meeting

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the Fund Coordination Committee, established by President Tayyip Erdoğan, will convene for the second time.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced on his social media account that the 2nd meeting of the Fund Coordination Committee will be held this morning. Yılmaz stated that roadmaps have been determined and all relevant institutions are taking concrete steps in coordination.

Legal Processes and Audit

Yılmaz stated that special accounts have been opened within the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) for each problematic fund to return unjust gains. He expressed that judicial processes are being operated effectively and that the State Supervisory Council has been assigned and has begun its work.

Robust Structure of the Markets

Emphasizing that the foundations of the Turkish economy and capital markets are solid, Yılmaz noted that with the resolution of issues in a limited segment of the fund markets, the capital markets will continue on their path with a much stronger structure.
