Hazelnut trading volume in commodity exchanges announced for August
Hazelnut sales quantities and regional distributions carried out in commodity exchanges during the first month of the new season have become clear.
A total of 39,812 tons of new-season hazelnuts were traded and changed hands in commodity exchanges across Turkey in August 2026.
Total Hazelnut Sales in August
Total volume data reached in August as a result of transactions conducted through commodity exchanges has been officially shared.
According to the statement made by the Giresun Commodity Exchange, data from 21 commodity exchanges in hazelnut-producing regions were evaluated.
As a result of this evaluation, it was determined that a total of 39,812 tons of new-season hazelnuts were sold during August.
Regions with the Highest Trading Volume
The highest hazelnut trading volume in August was recorded in the provinces of Düzce and Bolu.
Ranking first, a total of 9,937 tons of hazelnuts were sold in the aforementioned region.
Sales Figures of Ordu and Sakarya
The Düzce and Bolu region was followed by the province of Ordu with a sales volume of 7,606 tons.
Sakarya secured third place on the list with a trading volume of 7,283 tons.
