Increases Made in Agriculture and Livestock Support Payments
With the decisions published in the Official Gazette, many agricultural support amounts, ranging from crop production to livestock, beekeeping, and aquaculture, have been increased.
Presidential Decrees regarding the increase of support amounts in the fields of agriculture and livestock have been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. With the new regulation, crop production coefficients, livestock premiums, certified seed, and shepherd supports were increased at significant rates.
Support Coefficients Increased in Crop Production
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, support coefficient values per decare in agricultural production applications were gradually increased.
In this context, while the support coefficient value applied per decare for the 2025 production year was updated, new coefficients were also determined for the year 2027.
Support Increase in Legumes and Staple Crops
Supports for lentils and chickpeas within the scope of planned production were increased by 141 percent, reaching high levels per decare.
Payments were also updated depending on production planning for staple crops such as wheat, barley, corn, cotton, sunflower, and potato.
Certified Seed and Consultancy Payments
Supports per decare for products such as soybeans, peanuts, chickpeas, fodder peas, and lentils in certified seed use were increased.
Agricultural extension and consultancy support was reorganized with a 40 percent increase compared to the previous year.
Bovine and Ovine Livestock Supports
Increases of up to 43 percent were implemented in bovine and ovine livestock support items.
In addition to basic supports for calves, water buffalo calves, lambs, and kids, shepherd support payments were also raised in line with this rate.
Beekeeping, Silkworm, and Mohair Production
Basic supports given per populated beehive were increased for producers who are members or non-members of producer organizations in beekeeping activities.
It was reported that certain rate increases were also made per kilogram in basic supports for silkworm and mohair production.
Pregnancy Losses and Additional Producer Supports
The scope of supports for pregnancy losses experienced due to programmed vaccinations and infectious diseases during the pregnancy period was expanded.
Additional support payments will be provided to producers in various areas such as the Strong Fattening Strong Production Project and disease-free enterprises.
