Istanbul Culture Route Festival Begins
Opening its doors for the sixth time with the participation of Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the Istanbul Culture Route Festival welcomes art lovers with hundreds of events and gastronomy routes.
Starting with an opening ceremony held at the Atatürk Cultural Center with the participation of Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the Istanbul Culture Route Festival meets art lovers with more than 400 events, international performances, exhibitions, and gastronomy routes.
Opening and Significance of the Festival
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy inaugurated the Istanbul Culture Route Festival, which brings art lovers together with more than 400 events. Ersoy drew attention to the festival's aspect of supporting local art production and connecting cultural heritage with new generations.
Events and Concerts
Within the scope of the festival, events are being held at 23 different venues and more than 50 locations. The program includes concerts, exhibitions, theater plays, and children's activities.
International Programs
Internationally, concerts by the Royal Philharmonic and the National Arab Orchestra will be held. The Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Ballet Company will also meet art lovers in Turkey for the first time.
Special Exhibitions at AKM
Three special exhibitions have been opened to visitors at the Atatürk Cultural Center. Among these exhibitions are works from Mustafa Taviloğlu's collection as well as ASELSAN's upcycling exhibition.
Gastronomy Routes
More than 200 flavor points and five separate gastronomy routes designated for the festival present Istanbul's culinary richness to visitors.
Goals for Next Year
It was announced that six new cities will be added in 2027 to the festival, which is hosted by 26 cities this year, bringing the total number of cities to 32.
