300 People Receive Free Health Screenings in Phong Phu Ward
In collaboration with Hue Central Hospital, the City Cancer Association, and the Dove Fund, comprehensive health screenings were provided to those in need in the region.
Hue Central Hospital and the City Cancer Association, in cooperation with the US-based Dove Fund, organized free health checks and cancer screenings for 300 residents living in Phong Phu ward.
Purpose and Scope of the Health Screening
This meaningful program, carried out in collaboration with the Dove Fund, specifically targeted individuals affected and victimized by Agent Orange in the region.
The activity aims to support local residents' access to healthcare services and ensure timely treatment through the early detection of abnormal symptoms.
Medical Tests and Examinations Performed
General clinical examinations and various medical tests were administered to the participants by doctors and medical personnel from Hue Central Hospital.
Within this scope, abdominal, thyroid, and breast ultrasounds, chest X-rays, AFP tests, and blood tests were conducted, along with cancer screenings for women.
Expanded Regional Health Activities
Implemented in September 2026, this health program was carried out in three different areas covering Phong Dien, Phong Dinh, and Phong Phu wards.
As a result of the comprehensive efforts, a total of over one thousand citizens across the three regions underwent the examination and screening process.
